Here's a movie that I've been wanting to see for a while now, I just haven't gotten around to it. To be honest, this trailer is garbage but I've hear the actual movie is amazing. Elite Squad comes from the writers of City of God, another great Brazilian film I would recommend to anyone.

The Pass-Colors

With their spacey guitar riffs and catchy lyrics, I think The Pass has some great potential to reach a wide audience especially since today their music finally made it to iTunes. I came across these guys a few days ago with their song "Colors" gaining popularity on thesixtyone.com. Their sound is reminiscent of The Killers' Hot Fuss era...which probably explains why I like it so much.

Having grown up in six different cities over the brief 20 years I've been around, I've always had to adapt to my surroundings. Last semester I brought my curiosity for new things abroad with me to Barcelona, Spain in what would turn out to be an eye opening experience and the best decision of my life thus far. Looking back, there is no better source of inspiration than traveling to new and exotic places and experiencing the world apart from one's comfort zone.
